Stayed in a super cute and private pod at a great price. The beds were comfortable with two pillows, and the floors didn't creek during the night. The shared kitchen looked good and clean, and there were storage cubby holes and drawers under the beds for personal belongings. The wash basins in the dorm rooms were convenient, and there were plenty of showers and toilets available. The hostel is situated in a fantastic area, with amazing views from both inside and outside the rooms. The staff were mostly very helpful and nice, and the drying room was useful. The location is perfect, with a local pub nearby and easy access to grocery stores and hiking trails. The hostel is well-maintained and one of the cleanest I've stayed at. I highly recommend Glencoe Youth for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Staff was super friendly and courteous. Good tips. Very clean. Conveniently located for a visit to the classy Claichaig Inn pub and as a starting point for walks and close to some Harry Potter locations.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money was exceptional. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the stunning location in the mountains with great views. The service and attention to detail were also top-notch. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The basic amenities provided were perfect for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I loved that the rooms didn't have TVs but instead had board games, which added a fun and social element to the experience. The option of both shared and private bathrooms catered to different preferences. Lastly, the breakfast included was delicious and a great way to start the day.
All was hunky-dory, no complaints whatsoever.

Beautiful area and there is a supermarket nearby which is open for a very long time
During the shower there was little water and the water stopped more often at once. Shower and WC are only one room for women on the upper floor, so both were always occupied.

The location
The mattresses were the worst I've ever seen, with every single spring boring into the back.

Had a blast staying in a hostel and meet other travellers from all around the world. the beds were surprisingly stable and comfy. the kitchen was fully equipped and offered complementary tea and coffee. the hostel is located in a peaceful area surrounded by mountains, perfect for hiking.
The bathroom situation is far from ideal. It's not enough for a whole floor.

Quiet hostel in a great location
We had a wonderful stay at this quiet hostel in a great location. The rooms were cosy with comfortable bedding, and the kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The shower room and toilets were very clean, which was a big plus. The staff was extremely helpful and polite, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hostel also had a quiet room, perfect for reading at night. Although they didn't have mixed dorms and the Wi-Fi wasn't free, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend this hostel for a peaceful and well-maintained stay.
