Stayed in a super cute and private pod at a great price. The beds were comfortable with two pillows, and the floors didn't creek during the night. The shared kitchen looked good and clean, and there were storage cubby holes and drawers under the beds for personal belongings. The wash basins in the dorm rooms were convenient, and there were plenty of showers and toilets available. The hostel is situated in a fantastic area, with amazing views from both inside and outside the rooms. The staff were mostly very helpful and nice, and the drying room was useful. The location is perfect, with a local pub nearby and easy access to grocery stores and hiking trails. The hostel is well-maintained and one of the cleanest I've stayed at. I highly recommend Glencoe Youth for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I loved that the rooms didn't have TVs but instead had board games, which added a fun and social element to the experience. During the shower there was little water and the water stopped more often at once. Shower and WC are only one room for women on the upper floor, so both were always occupied.
